Virtual reconstruction of the choir of the medieval church
During your visit to the Cistercian ruins of the Orval Abbey, you can use a smartphone or tablet to view a virtual reconstruction of the choir of the church as it was during the lifetime of the first Cistercian community.
You will find two QR codes in the choir of the medieval church :
- on the tomb of Wenceslas 1st Duke of Luxembourg
- on the information panel number 12-16, in the right transept
They will allow you to place yourself in the right position to experience the 360° augmented reality.
The reconstruction will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the centre of the former 12th-century Cistercian church and to discover its architecture, furnishings and stained glass windows in a whole new way...
